Sound Blaster Live 5.1 Digital Drivers?

Does anyone know where I can get the drivers for that sound card? I bought it from a friend but he can't find the drivers. I checked online at the website and it only gives updates to original drivers. Thanks for any help!!

All Creative cards have a model number, which you can use at their site to identify it.

If it's an OEM card like CT4830, Creative won't and do not offer support or drivers.

You will have to get that through the manufacturer if that's the case.

Also, if you are using XP, it's extremely difficult to get a stable installation without stuffing around.

 

Those wont work. For some reason, you can't download the drivers for a SoundBlaster Live 5.1 Digital card. Hes going to need the drivers on the CD it came with (It doesn't matter what CD. As long as it's the CD for that card.)

I'm having the same problem. I lost my driver CD and am trying to get the drivers from someone.

 

If it's an original Creative card, then you can download drivers from their site.

If it's an OEM card, you need to go to the manufacturers site as the drivers are custom written to identify the card.

Creative drivers do not recognise OEM cards and will simply tell you that you don't have a SoundBlaster card installed if you try to install them.
