Sound blaster pci 512 windows 98

Ok i am using a asus cusl2 motherboard with no sound have sound card was working fine,ran out of room on my harddrive got new one now i cant get my sound card to work, it says pci multimedia audio device no drivers running windows 98 se

then there is another one creative multimedia interface


i cant see inside my face

i have fried 7 motherboards and this one just keeps on going thanks for that or i would have no pc

i need my sound so ican listen to insane clown posse

i know my pci slots are working i have a highspeed usb card and that works fine

 

Website blocked... only place i found the drivers too. Must be a bad site?

they should work. Also try use a little punctuation in your posts, its makes them a little easier to read.

 

You best bet is to start searching at the forum

and hope that someone is willing to upload the driver for your PCI 512

and of course they do not have drivers archived to download.

It is possible to get the proper driver from a forum member. I did for an old SoundBlaster card. Ironically, it worked fine with nothing in linux but I really had to work to get sound in windows!

I typed in "sound blaster 512" and and it gave me one site to search thru.

After opening the listed page I went thru:

Pub/Soft/Drivers/SoundCards/Creative Sound Blaster Live! 512V Driver, Multi OSLanguageSystem/

And that got me to:
R37379.EXE 11.73 MB 2002-05-07

There are a lot more places to look around though.
For instance, instead of the 512V if you go to SBLive/ you will find a couple LiveWare 3.0 software downloads including one for 9x.

Also I have a very old disk "Sound Blaster 16 Software" I could make an iso for you if you think it would be useful. The entire cd is only 140mb.
