Hi there everyone, I've got a problem and i was wondering if any of you could help me out

Here is the System I currently run
    OS:XP sp2
    Motherboard: Asus m2n-e SLI
    CPU: AMD Athlon 5200+
    VGA: XFX 8800GTS 640MB
    RAM 2*1024 Corsair 800Hz

This Afternoon, i bought a Creative X-Fi 7.1 PCIe soundcard. When i went to install it on my PC, I got the BIOS error bleep code for 'No Graphics Card Detected'(One long bleep, three short ones). I thought this might be because of the fact that the Soundcard was covering the fan of the VGA, limiting it's cooling and causing it to not function properly. I removed the soundcard, and the PC booted up as normal. I then tried again, this time with the VGA in the secondary PCI-X slot, which is under the PCIe slots, so that the fan wouldn't be covered. Still, i got the BIOS error code. I have disabled my on-board USB sound card, and i have set my BIOS configuration to let my OS take care of PnP stuff, but i still get the same old code that goes away as soon as i remove the sound card, thoughts?

    cheers, skii
