Sound Card help please!

    Hello, I just got my mom's lap top and for some reason there is no sound card. I went to control panel and sound properties ans there is no audio device installed. I don't understand. I have to do a power point presentation for nursing school and I cant pick music!!

    Go to the laptop manufacturer's web site, navigate to their drivers/support/downloads page, enter the model number from your laptop, and download and install the driver. If you have trouble, post the make and model, and I'll try to help out ;)
