Sound Card Issue

    Ok, this does not look good.

    I unplugged my working speakers and plugged in a different set, then nothing.

    Tried plugging back in the old set, it has a green light when they are on, nothing. been trying back and forth, nothing.

    Looked it up in System hardware, and it says working fine.

    It will also not record, because you can see the lines jumping up and down when it does. So, I may try to reseat sound card, but could I have static-zapped it?

    Happened on an older computer also once before. I will try this soundcard in another computer before I buy another I guess.


    Any suggs?

    Reset it, and it works again, not a static kill!- Missing all the little card-holder screws, those need to go back in.
