Ok, basically I was learning how to kill a process in VB, and the only program apart from VB running was WinAMP, so I used that as my test. Big mistake. Now I can't get any sound at all out of my speakers... anyone got any ideas? *is very embarrassed*

    Oops forgot to include specs...
    Dell 8250
    2.5GHz, 512MB RAM
    Windows XP
Harman/Kardon 695 speakers, though I suspect it's the sound card being weird...

This should be in the software forum.

You didnt kill the soundcard with VB.
    Have you tried restarting?
Checking windows/sound card driver volume settings?
You could also use the system restore feature. That should work.
