I have a new mother board and the sound is dead. I have the drivers installed and it shows up in the device manager but when you look a the sound card by it's self it tells you no device is installed. I thought it was a bad on board sound card and bought a new card but after installing the new card the result was the same. Does anyone eles have an idea as to what the problem is. By the way the OS is Vista. Thanks for any help.
