Sound Cuts Out Intermittently After Installing New Gpu

Hi there! I haven't posted on here in a while but I have had great experience getting help in these forms for many years. Hoping that there is someone out there who can figure out this problem with me. Going to provide some basic info if any more is needed I am happy to give it.

I'm using MS Windows 10 Home x64
The CPU is Ryzen 5 5600x 6 core 3701 Mhz
Motherboard is TUF Gaming B550-PLUS
16gb RAM

New GPU is the Rx 6700 10gb
Old GPU was Nvidia GTX 970


So I just replaced my GTX 970 with this Rx 6700. Upon installing it everything seemed to be absolutely fine. However I quickly noticed once I loaded up World of Warcraft that the sound cuts out intermittently only for about 1-2 seconds max. I have since tested it with spotify and youtube and have experienced it with those as well. It doesn't affect anything else but sound there is no visual lag etc.
