sound driver offline

I need help with installing a driver. Yeah, it doesn't install it says can't find program.exe. Whatever that means! I don't know much about it, as you can tell. Sorry to bother you but I lost my computer guy because of my cuteness; so I'm asking whoever. I got something from this site. My sound doesn't work, HELP!!

 

usually when windows goes 'hey i found some new hardware thing called a soundcard in here' it will ask you for a driver disk if it doesnt already have a driver on hand for it. you Usually dont need to run the setup program for your soundcard unless your running windows 3.1 Lol. On the other hand, if that doesnt popup anymore when you bootup, it maybe installed with the wrong driver;-windows thinks its right and working properly but its not- then you must go into the device manager and remove your sound devices and restart. Then when it asks you what driver you want, point to the floppy or cdrom or whereever you have the right drivers. One Last Solution: If after you remove those and restart and it just reinstalls the wrong drivers all by itself, then just go into the device manager, go down to sounds, video, and game controllers where your soundcard is right click the one that sounds close and click properties. Once in there, click the 'Driver' tab at the top. the click update driver and the point to the location of your good driver. PM me or email me if you have anymore problems or questions! Thank you for your help. You are really funny but I don't know what you are saying.
But what if we don't have the disk that has the correct driver on it? I cannot find what I don't have. Windows thinks it's looking for it in the right place, but it is so wrong. I don't get it, update online for windows doesn't have the correct driver; in which, it doesn't have any drivers does it?!!!!~ Newsreel: A duck and a cat are swimming buddies. You maybe able to goto the website of whomever manufatures the soundcard. then download a driver from them to install it. then if the driver package isnt a thingie where it installs by itself...just extract the file (if its a ZIP) to a folder then point windows to it. about windows update-it SUPPOSEDLY has drivers, but ive built 25+ computers and its had NO drivers for ANY of the hardware. They probably have maybe 2 drivers for somethin from 1985 or something. so the short answer is: No, it has no drivers. Are you using windows xp? If so and u feel trustworthy of me, then when i get back home off of this dialup internet (assuming you have dsl or cable) we can do a remote assistance thing and i could try to fix it for you from my computer. As for me being funny, I do that for the simple reason so that if you must restart your computer, and for some ungodly reason your internet is broken or what not, you can remember what i said. Heck, i dont know, it sounds good to me. so yea you can private message me or just post a reply or even email me at najerogu@yahoo.com if you want to. dosent matter to me. i prefer the email as i check it every other day.
