Sound driver (Realtek) cleaner

    My Realtek ALC888 is not working and i believe I might may have messed up the drivers. Is there a program for totally cleaning out Realtek drivers from Windows 7?

    Hi

    Could you give us the info below as written and attached in the log.

    as Driver Sweeper to just uninstall any audio drivers listed in Device Manager should remove all the drivers for said device, then you need to install the correct audio driver from the maker of your hardware and don't just think because its Realtek that their unified driver will work as you may need to install the driver from your PC maker if OEM (HP, ACER, Sony etc) or the motherboard makers driver.

    Installed an Asus Xonar DG, now have sound.
