Sound Drivers Problems!

    hi guys,

    i recently have been playing Divx movies and DVD movies and there has been loud crackling sounds that make viewing ver frustrating!. i then run these types of files in Media Player classic 6.4.8.6 and there is no crackling!!

    i figured it could be driver problems. am i right please let me know. please let me know on how to resolve this issue.

    Hi,
    I was wondering what media players, (VLC, WMP, WinDVD) and what version the crackling occurs in if not Media Player Classic, have you installed any codec packs, if so which one, ones.

    the programs i use are Nero showtime, windows media player 11 and Media player classic 6.

    i havent installed any codec packs but i installed codecs from nero 7 codecs packs such as mpeg 2 encoder mp3 codec etc.
