    Hey all,

I don't know what happened to our sound, but in the last few weeks an echo effect has shown up. Every sound this computer makes has an echo to it.

I did a search on the forums and didn't find anything. Anyone know how to get rid of this annoying echo? I checked all my settings already, and no dice. Maybe install new drivers?

Sounds like a sound effect is enabled on a creative card...

You know, like Auditorioum, Hall, etc.

Man you have no idea how much time you've saved me from just asking this same question!

    Thanks!

Make sure your BIOS is up to date too. I have run into a similar problem with Dell computers. Once the BIOS was updated it stopped. Even if this doesn't fix the problem it's always good to have an up-to-date BIOS. ;-)
