sound gone; please help

    Hello, I just reinstalled/repaired my windows and I have a yellow exclamation mark next to my
    "NVIDIA(R) nForce(TM) Audio Codec Interface" in my DEVICE Manager. I was searching for the drivers already, but couldn't find anything. I believe my sound card is integrated AC '97. Thank you for help.

    Hi

    By any chance do you know which nForce chipset you have on your motherboard as you will need the nForce chipset drivers installed, especially after a re-install or repair as they have the audio drivers included for onboard sound on nForce boards.

    Halo: I already solved it by installing the drivers for AC '97. Sound is working fine. Now, my other yellow exclamation mark is next to "PLUG AND PLAY BIOS EXTENSION." What do you recommend I should do about this one???

    Do you have Alcohol 120 or Deamon tools on your PC as those can cause this?

    Yes, I do have Daemon tools. I occasionally need them. I don't think it should cause a problem in the future. So, I guess I will let it be as it is. What do you think? Thank you.
