My sound is gone completely. Yesterday, I ran adaware, found Cydoor in system volume, and removed it all through the adaware program. i remember my sound working up until then, although i normally run in mute and can't quite remember the last time i heard it. now i can't get ANY sound. the sound icon is on my tray, and it's not on mute, but nothing's coming out.

i'm sad to say i only noticed because i was trying to look at some internet porn. total bummer.

    help?

you may just need to reinstall the sound drivers. do you know what kind of sound you have onboard or a sound card if you do not know here is a link for a progam that will tell you everything you need to knoe about your system and then you can tell which drivers you need for sound
