Sound Issues For Awhile Now.

I have ha Lenovo Ideapad 330 12 gigs Windows 10 home. I have been having sound issues with my computer. I have done everything from downloading drivers from Lenov to uninstalling and reinstalling, updating drivers ect. I also reset the in recovery and I still have the issue but it was not as bad. Then my bios just updated and made the sound even worse. I have to turn off the computer and turn it back on to make the sound issue to stop and that has been going on for awhile.

Any help would be so appreciated..

Sadly, you never described what the sound "issue" is! What is the sound doing?

 

I am sorry It is muffled.

 

Of course the sound will be muffled. The speakers are on the bottom.

I've found laptops usually have poor audio. Attach an external speaker by a) audio port, b)USB c) bluetooth.
I have a Sony bluetooth speaker that I pair with our laptops when we want to hear the dialog in a movie.

 

On my lenovo it has been great till recently so something is going on. I know you can do an external speaker but to me it is a pain. I like everything in one package.

 

Hi Major Attitude I tried all the above. you suggested. I even downloaded the booster driver to update drivers and the sound got worse and more muffled like. When I go into my device manager there are like several driver in the sound area. I will post a shot here. I am trying to get to the bottom of this or maybe my sound card is going out just not sure how to see if that is the case.
