Hi guys.. first time here in this forum.

I installed win7, had sound working just fine. Windows update ran it's course and now I don't have sound anymore. I tried downloading the realtek driver and it installs but there is still no sound. Windows doesn't detect an audio output device.

Hope you can help me.. TYVM

    Hi

Do you know what updates installed (the KB numbers will do) at the time of your audio loss?

The ACER Veriton is from ACER's data not Windows 7 compatible, not to say it wont work but drivers "could" be an issue, and more of an issue with updates to Service Packs for Windows.

Just try this driver for Vista from ACER for your model PC HERE

If you have just installed the updates and have not rebooted, do so as sometimes a reboot is needed.
