sound on dvd

I made a backup copy of a dvd when you play it on a dvd player the sound gets behind whats going on , if I fast forward a little it will catch up then later gets behind again . I used dvdfab decrypter and the dvdshrink and burn with nero . Is this a setting issue ?

 

thanks for the reply , I thought maybe it was that or the decrypter , seems like to many programs to go thru , might invest in an easier way like 1click dvd copy5 or something like it any suggestions ?

Yes, the freeware version of DVD Fab Decrypter will rip the DVD successfully, but it only does it in DVD9(dual layer). Then you need to use a second program(DVDShrink or others) to convert it to a DVD5(Single layer) disc.

I thought I would save bama0629 the trouble of having to rip, convert and burn all in 1 program.

 

I have the free version of dvdfab hd decrypter 4 ,but I thought with any decrypter you had to use shrink to put it on a disc.some of my backups of my dvds have skips and freezes , is that probably caused by shrink also ?

Did you read the posts above you? As stated, DVDFab decrypter will rip the DVD to a DVD9 format ONLY and save it to your HD. This is a dual-layer format for use with dual-layer discs. Then a second program(DVD Shrink or others) must convert it to use a single layer disc. You don't need to convert it if you're using dual-layer discs, but the cost of those discs is a little prohibitive($1.25 each versus .33 cents for a single layer disc.)

Check out http://www.dvdfab.com and buy the DVDFab Platinum. Then you can use DVD5(single layer) discs easily. Select Whole disc or Main Movie. Main movie just copies the movie without all the previews an other garbage.
