Not sure which problem this is and if it is software or hardware related.

This is a new Dell 2020 one desktop running Windows 8.

I have had the computer for about a month now and recently when playing flash games or playing video on YouTube the sound makes an occasional grinding noise through the speakers. It is as if the sound or music cannot keep up with the video. It is weird, did not do this when I first got the computer. I have applied all of the Windows Updates, updated the drivers at the Dell site, updated Flash. Any ideas? I am loath to try Dell tech support. I have also ran all of their suggested tests on their site and all have passed.:wave

Call Dell tech support. No amount of software tweaks or fixes will fix a hardware problem. Dell support can determine if you have a hardware problem.
A month old computer should not be making strange noises.

OK. Called Dell. Of course I could not reproduce the problem while they were on the phone. Now I have an open ticket for a call back tomorrow. Thanks for the advice plodr.
