hey homies. hows everyone doing tonight?
i have a dillemma....and its computer based [obviously].
i came home and all of a sudden the audio on my PC wont work.
if i try to open an MP3 file wether it be realplayer or windows media, or even if i try to open an MPEG---it says that :

"cannot open audio device, another application may be using it"

there are no other programs open though.

I've tried restarting and all that jazz....when i try to click on volume control, it doesnt even open. so i really dont know what to do. any help would be appreciated. im the biggest loser when it comes 2 computers.

it was working fine before i got home, i was using it just earlier.
    thanks again......

Sounds like someone playing on your computer.

Do you know what type of sound you have. If it is built on the motherboard go to there site and find the drivers and reinstall them.
