    Hey guys

Well I have reached my level of incompetence yet again, so here I am beseeching the brilliant minds here at Major geeks for help....

I have a Emachine amd 64 3500, model t6524. Mostly still stock parts, besides it's pci-e g-froce 6800 512 mb graphics card in it (Awesome for games) and a huge power supply... Good machine so far... until now

For some reason the sound is GONE. It was working when I played company of heroes beta a few hours ago, but after starting it up, there was no sounds whatsoever... When I went to control panel and did some sniffing around, I got things like "No sound device installed."

    ...what the???

This machine is only a few months old, so the card, or adapter, or whatever it has as a stock machine blowing out seemed really unlikely... I know the info is kinda vague, but anyone got any idea what the hecc is going on? Maybe at least point me in the right direction? Thanks in advance guys!

    Ramsey,
Did you uninstall the Company of Heroes?, If so it could of jerked the sound driver with it on the uninstall, this could very well be one of the bugs in the BETA Version, Go to http://www.driverguide.com/, register for the free account, and search for your sound driver, and reinstall it.. When I use or try Beta's, I always read the Bug Reports first to get an idea of the problem area's it may have, Good Luck
