    Hi,

Do you have a Mobo Driver Cd with this computer ?
Tray to install, maybe sound work after.

It would help if you can find the brand (like Gateway) and the model so we know exactly what drivers you need.

If you have to, unhook the monitor and turn the computer over; there might be a model number on the bottom or the back. Do not post anything that starts SN because that is a serial number and you don't want that posted all over the internet.

ooops, where are my manners...Happy Birthday!

Your computer might be a Book PC http://www.thebookpc.com/
I'm not having much luck tracking down the model Patriot BK630E.

    I did find this:
If that is correct then I can get to here http://www.cmedia.com.tw/?q=en/PCI/CMI8738
and then reach a dead end because it says
I'll see if there is a driver posted anywhere else.

a little google-ing and i found that what the patriot bk630e is probably the motherboard...and patriot doesn't have a website, and they are/were owned by amptron international, and i cant find a website specifically for that motherboard...you may need to use everest to run a report and attach it to your next post...
    you can download everest here
    http://majorgeeks.com/download4181.html
once installed, open the program and run the report wizard, choose hardware only and save it as a text file (you might better understand this once you run the program)
then attach that text file to your next post. Instructions on how to attach a file can be found here...
    http://forums.majorgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=86880

please don't copy and paste the text in the post, as it can be a long file..
