I installed a SoundBlaster card in my comp, i ran the CD w/ the drivers on it that it came w/, i checked my bios and made sure that the audio was set to PCI. When i play music w/ a player it sounds fine, but when i play a video or something that has animation in it, it has alot of static in it. Any idea on how to fix this?..........thx in advance

Try disabling the SoundBlaster temporarily and using the on-board sound. If it still has static, then we know it's a Windows/software problem. If the static is gone, then we know the problem is with the SoundBlaster card or it's drivers.
