SoundMax not working on XP.

    My computer was working fine until a comcast dude tries to help my computer speed. He installs google chrome and i think nothing of it. Now when i try to play anything on youtube or my media player it doesnt work. I've tried to unplug my audio cord but i hear the sound it makes when it comes out and when i put it back in. I dont know what to do.... Help?:cry
