Reinstalled Soundmax 3 times; downloaded from Cnet and Asus. Right speaker won't play (left speaker and sub-woofer fine). Asus PK5-E motherboard, running Win7 Enterprise 32-bit. Cables checked OK. Device manager fine. Any ideas appreciated!

Speakers play fine connected to a laptop......

Maybe the Balance has moved to the left?

It's a bit tricky to change the Balance on Windows 7: Control Panel | Sound | right-click on Speakers | Properties | tab Levels | Balance.

Thanks, but checked balance for the speakers and it's in the middle.....

What about the "Speaker settings"? Is there an "Advanced" option for selecting a "mono" speaker(s) setting?

No mono, only stereo (which it's set to) or surround sound options.
