    I have just upgraded one of my older machines to Windows 7 (I did the Upgrade Advisor before and W7 would install correctly and all the hardware would be fine).
    Until... I installed W7, everything else works fine, except the Audio driver! I have tried everything, XP compatibility mode.

    I know the drivers according to the page for the motherboard aren't for windows 7, but surely there must be some way of doing it:

    It's a K8V-MX.

    Hi my friend , what is your devices in which ? in located ? You can follow this way

    Start - Run type this mmc devmgmt.msc - Ok - right click to yellow device - Properties - Details - scroll down the arrow finding Hardware ids - there is a code in the box , we need it ( select all - copy - paste ) the code here :wave
