Sounds Like It Could Have Been Worse Than Joanie & Chachi

I just heard Henry Winkler aka The Fonz say that when he was still starring in Happy Days that ABC came up to him and told him since he's so popular now they want to give him his own show or The Fonz Show or whatever they planned to call it. Wisely he turned it down since he understood Happy Days was his claim to fame and you don't bite the hand that feeds you. Yeah I know Joanie & Chachi came after Happy Days was axed but none the less it still sucked to the max!

Oops I should have said Joanie Loves Chachi. Either way as in the case of most spin offs that show sucked.

Well, last night I believe I saw evidence that there COULD be a show worse than Joanie Loves Chachi. And while it wasn't The Fonz Show, it did involve Henry Winkler. While channel surfing I came across this show for which I had been seeing previews.

I saw about 2 or 3 minutes of this show --- Better Late Than Never ... a new reality show featuring Henry Winkler, Terry Bradshaw, William Shatner and George Foreman. Those few minutes were pathetic enough. I have no intention of seeing anymore of it. But, who knows? I guess it could have its small niche of Fans somewhere. Then again, it could also turn out to be one of those shows that gets canceled after their debut episode.

I never heard of this Better Late Than Never show. I found it on Google and what I saw of it doesn't look like a sitcom to begin with. It wasn't entertaining at all but I just read its debut got good ratings.

It didn't look like a sitcom because it is a Reality Show. You know ... one of those shows where they figure --- just throw 4 legends together, let the cameras run as they just walk around being themselves, let'r rip and watch the awesome entertainment just flow.

As to the good ratings for its 1st week? Well, it was no doubt the curiosity factor. It's like when many new movies come out and have a very good opening weekend based on interesting preview trailers that the people got to see. However, it then turns out the movie actually sucks. Word of mouth quickly gets out and the viewership quickly drops.

From what little I saw, the show should have been titled --- Better Never Than Late. :D
