Yes well worth having as its adds more compatability with many applications, also adds more speed in data tranfers as this one one major issue in RTM ( especially copying over networks and USB )

• Disk to Disk eg. C drive to D drive is anywhere from 24% to 44% improved,
  
• Resume from Standby is much quicker
  
• Extraction from compressed files is much quicker in RTM a large 1GB file took 80secs now same in SP1 will be 23secs
  
• Internet Explorer can load large and multiple images in SP1 quicker than RTM.

So in a word yes its well worth having.

I have installed on 3 PCs and no issues on 2, 1 did have an issue but it was not fault of MSFT, but a 3rd party firewall even after it was uninstalled months earlier, causing corruption in the Windows Security Center, once this applciation was fully removed, all went well and Still I have not had any issues in Vista since installing the final RTM version on Nov 06
