ok, i've just reloaded my os again, and have done all of the updates etc. on prior installations of sp2 i was given a chance to put all of the backup files in a certain location) etc., but on this installation i was not. does anyone know where they are (which folders, etc., i might look)? i was wondering why i'm using so much memory (4.78 gbyte used), when i still have more programs to install. i am wanting to do this before i do another backup. - thx, sos

Yeah SP2 doesn't give you a choice, it archives the files.

    They are stored here:

    c:\windows\$NtServicePackUninstall$
