SP2 problems?? Not sure....

    Shadowchaser A Really Great Guy

    Have just reinstalled my Windows XP Professional and upgraded to SP2. After doing so I have lost my desktop's background image and cannot seem to recover it. Have looked at my desktop properties and it shows the image I want to use but all I get is a black screen with my icons on it and the taskbar at the bottom. Please advise and start with the basics in case I have missed something simple. Thanks!
