SP2 XP problems

Cannot finda program to support Service pack 2 download from microsoft for XP. Any help would be good. Its an img file but dowloaded reccomended viewer from microsoft and still didnt work?

 

a .img file is a disk image, similar to a .iso or .bin

the easiest way to deal with them is to burn them to a cd. Nero does this under the option "Disc image or saved project", as do most burning programs.

alternatively, you can mount a disc image onto a virtual drive. Nero 6 includes a virtual drive, and some other good programs are Alcohol 120%, and Daemon Tools.

if you dont have any of the above programs and dont know what a virtual drive is... i'd suggest simply burning it to a cd.

 

Where do you download SP2? I have been looking all over for it.
