SP3 Download

It has been recomended that SP3 be downloaded from Windows Update. My question is: How can I download SP3 and save it to my hard drive for later installation. I went to the Microsoft download and all it said was "download and install now", no "run" or "save" option. I want to download from a fast internet, (which is about a 26 min download), move it to a cd, and transfer it to my slow dialup machines (which will be about a 6 hr download)Thanks in advance as always

These days I also find the Windows XP SP3 is pumped on me, and I am downloading it now. Now, I use the Windows XP with SP2 chinese simplified version. Hope try the new version as soon as possible.

If you want a smaller file than the ISO file, download Windows XP Service Pack 3 Network Installation Package for IT Professionals and Developers. This is an .exe file. It's 316.4 MB vs. about 544MB for the ISO file.

Even though the title says "Network Installation Package", it will work on a stand-alone machine and can be burned to CD and used to install SP3 on other machines.
