Its all I use now. Integrates with Outlook, OE, Eudora, Incredimail and more. Very intelligent in detecting spam and even checks against a list to determine if email bouncing is a waste of time or not. Easily setup friends by address book and add friends or enemies later.

These guys really nailed this one down, give it a shot, I am betting you will be impressed. Let me know.

I tried this software some time ago. You are right is very good I liked this software from the get go. I believe I tried out a newer version. the version that I tried if I am not mistaken had to used either for outlook express or just outlook. there were 2 separate downloads I tried the one for outlook.
2 things outlook always worked with it but everytime I started outlook, outlook would signal that there was an invalid add in. that add in was the spam detector. I am sure they have corrected that now. another thing I discovered was that some email could not be bounced back reason was because some servers do not allow you to do that. so I was left with this pissed off feeling cause I could never bounce it back. I wonder it they have also somehow fixed that problem. I might try out the new version I hope all that I stated has been worked out.

Its completely re-written. The author brought that to our attention and thats why we tried it again. Single download for all mail programs. Im using it with Express, Jim with 2002 or 3. As for bouncing back, you realize that your bouncing back to an email that usually is not the one it was sent from, its almost pointless, really. This has a database and recognizes emails that you cant even bounce back to because its pointless as mentioned in my original post. Go figure! Awesome stuff.

Humm good to hear that. I will give it a try and get back with my opinion at a later time.

About the bounce back option you are right it is just about pointless to bounce it back to the *ss 0 that 's sending that email.

But that bounce buttom sure gave me a feeling of getting back at them:D

Yeah, it does, huh? :) I have been running it all evening and run quite a few emails through it, maybe 50. So far, it took one as possible spam that was not and I added it to friends (as you know you need to expect a few of those) and has nailed everything else perfectly. I did have one spam get by and I passed that info on to them via the toolbar link now in Outlook so hopefully that will help others not get this email. Thats another nice feature, to report it so these peoples new emails get caught and stopped. Gotta help each other. So, out of 50 emails, I had to add 1 friend and report one. Technically, thats really 100% considering the expected learning curve and the new spam no one knows of. Im enjoying it because one of my emails was no longer useable that I have had for years and I was only cheking it daily. Now I can check it regulalry and only email I want comes through. Ill be looking forward to hearing your thoughts.

The toolbar in IE looks like this:

Have you used Mail Washer at all? How does it compare with your new Inspector?

Still testing the program. I have 12 days left;)

Mail washer pretty much does the same thing except it has a different user interface. it is not a plugin like spam inspector so it runs as a separate program that after checking your email opens your default email program for you. it also has a friends and enemy list and a bounce back option. (which by the way its pretty much useless;) )

I like spam inspector better but I am still testing it;)

No spam inspector 4.0 is not free they will allow you to use it for 15 days then if you decide to keep it you have to pay.

    Semper Fi is short for

I agree, what I like about this is that it does not require, is a seperate program as it integrates with all email clients. I also used Mailwasher, but removed it since using this. I like the seamless approach to removing spam, been looking for it. I guess I probaly could have begged for a free serial number, but its 10 bucks off and I imagine I like it enough, so I bucked up yesterday.

Oh, be sure to be patient, some of the programs features show up days later.

Ive attached a screenshot of the email i NEVER saw in my daily email and had to open spam quarantine to see at all. Makes my morning email run much easier.

It does a great job so I decided to keep it.

It learns as it goes and it does what it says.
