Spanish XP > English XP

These people wanted Spanish XP installed on their laptop. So I purchased a Spanish install CD and the install went fine, everything was perfect. But because it's a Spanish installation, the keyboard was a bit wonky (shift+2 brings up " and not @). So we purchased a USB Spanish keyboard. Big smiles all around, right? Well, for maybe 4 days. They then decided that they wanted English XP instead of Spanish so they changed all the regional and language settings to English and disconnected the USB Spanish keyboard. But it is still stuck with the wonky keyboard (shift+2 is still "quotes" and not the @ sign). I tried a safe repair install with a US full XP Home and it didn't fix the issue. Is there any way to fix this and revert the keyboard from Spanish to English/US without formatting?

(I have a sinking feeling that I'll get this figured out, and 5 days from now they'll decide that Spanish XP was working better :banghead)

 

Go to the Regional and Language options in the control panel. When the properties window apperars go to the Languages tab. From there click the button called details. Once their change the default input language english.
