Speaker Settings

    I have 5.1 surround sound using a Creative Sound Blaster Live! card. I set my speaker configuration to "surround sound 5.1", but it never stays that way! Every now and then I check the setup in Control Panel/sounds/speakers, and the config has changed to "desktop stereo speakers". This change happens BOTH, in windows control panel, AS WELL AS when I open the Creative Diagnostics program and check the speaker config.

    Why does this happen, and how to prevent it.

    What OS are ye using? Windows 7, vista, xp....

    When you set it, then go into a game, then exit that game, go back to your audio settings, does it revert back?
