    Hello
My laptop has been giving me upper 50's for CPU and motherboard. It does not usually do this.Is there something that could be causing this that would be evident?
I have Win 10 x 64 and am using Speccy.
I have a Dell N5010 and unfortunately the hard drive is the one that requires almost total dis assembly.
I iced the top in a waterproof container and it went to 30 and 40 degrees.
    Thank you
    Peter

I believe this laptop is cooled by air drawn in the bottom and out the left side.
If there is no obstruction to the air flow (sitting on a soft surface, book next to outlet, etc.) buy some canned air. With the laptop off head outside and blow in the side port where the air usually comes out. The canned air will cool off and lose power. Wait a bit until it blows hard again and one more prolonged shot in the side. Then try through the fan on the bottom. If you get lots of dust you are doing some good and have found the problem.
