I had a program from here that would tell me what connection speed I had. It would also compare my speed to other types of connection. Now I cant find it. My laptop was stolen from my house along with my other desk top.
I would also like to know how to get an IP address (like 216.167.188.44) and turn it into a regular web address. Does it exsist?
And I would also like to know how to find the archives to this place. There are tons of apps I want to replace that I cant find anymore. I love this place and now that I am in the computer way again I am going to be here alot!
    lol

Sure! Enter an IP or domain name and this site uses DNS to resolve it.

The IP you gave resolves to "NTS Communications" (an ISP?) in Lubbock, Texas

for resolving IPs to HOST names, you can use nslookup. It wont translate it into a DNS address because that isnt how lookups work (AFAIK), but it will give you a hostname which gives you more of a clue than a number.
