speed up audio play

How can I speed up the rate at which my audio files play?

HOW are you playing them, from net or cd or file?

The first, get cable.
The second, make sure your cd rom uses max buffer size, usuallly found under CD rom properties.
the Third if you are playing froma file and it is slow, then you ahve garbage all over your drive and mized up like a tossed salad. scandisk and defrag. (xp: defrag.)

not really a problem, just something i want to do. i am playing mp3s and if there is a media player that can speed up the playing of the mp3 without making it sound like crap i would like the help.

 

go to apple.com

get their xp compatible itunes.

But do defrag, this is a usual problem with sreams. ESPECIALLY if you donwload constantly.

 

You are asking for an audio player that will play MP3s, etc at an accelerated rate without the songs getting the chipmunk sound?

 

not a chipmonk sound, just the distortion i get when i do it in windows media player

 

Winamp does that with the Chronotron pluggin.
