I installed Speedfan on one of my PC's, My question is why am I getting false readings? The specs of the PC are as follows.

    AMD Athlon "Thunderbird" CPU
    Micro-Star MS-6340 MB

Also included is a screen capture of Speedfan.

Programs that read these numbers have to be compatible to your exact board for them to display correctly. In this case, either speed fan doesn't support your board, or you don't have the version of speedfan that does.

You should be careful of some of these apps as they can give false positives, as in your case. Try EVEREST Home (free) instead a lot more realiable:

Whenever using monitoring/diagnostic software always assess your BIOS firstly and take a mental note of temps, CPU fan RPM, etc and then compare. The decent apps will show subtle variation to your BIOS (the more accurate).

Try MBM5. It supports your board.
