Speedfan stops logging when .csv is opened

The csv opening in Read Only is normal as the application if running has that file open for writing too so its locked out for editing, however the stopping logging once you close the csv is likely to be that as you have opened it the app cannot add to it so the app may need a re-start or PC a reboot.

The option I would use if you really need to review the log file is to make a copy of the file (right click > Copy) then save it in a different location and rename it then open to review the log, once finished delete it.
