speedtouch help needed

I have a speed touch 576 & 585 and have a problem connecting to either of them. I had 576 set up and working for around a month with no problems, however other day it would not connect, it shows up in wireless networks available but when you click connect ,connecting to network message appears and after a few seconds connect button becomes active again and connecting to network window run for about another 30 second before closing and no wireless networks in range message comes up, click search for wireless networks and it shows up again. Thought it may be speedtouch so bought cheap 585 and set that up but same problem unable to connect from any of my computers(2 desktop,1laptop)or games consoles. setup as follows:

any help much appretiated, as stated new to wireless setup first wireless router.will supply any further info as needed, thanks ray

 

if you can return them back, i would suggest to get a linksys, netgear or a belkin as these routers do the basic settings automatically for you. it could be that you are far from the router or the interface type could be different. one of my friend used to have a speedtouch and he was having a lot of hassles with it then he changed to a linksys router.
