SpeedyFox framents instead of defragmenting Firefox??

    Speedyfox is a free utility hosted on MG: http://majorgeeks.com/SpeedyFox_d6241.html

    Here's the pitch (from MG link):
    In practice it seems to do the opposite. I ran PerfectDisk 10 analysis before and after using Speedyfox. Here are the results:

    BEFORE:

    Summary: urlclassifier3.sqlite went from 4 fragments to 72 fragments (no size change), and places.sqlite broke into 51 fragments.

    However, Speedyfox is freeware and it's recommended for use 1-2 times a week, so my comparison pics may be unfair. My main point really is that if you run PerfectDisk or another good quality defragger every few weeks, then using Speedyfox on top of that may be counter-productive.
