spellcheck problem in OE6

Ok, not exactly sure how to solve this issue...
I have downloaded and independent 3rd party spell checker (Spell Checker for OE 2.1 downloaded from MG) for my outlook express 6 and it works fine no problems. I have also had my Microsoft Digital Image Suite9 installed on my computer for a long time without any problems. Now all of a sudden instead of using the 3rd party to check for spelling errors I get a pop up window for Windows Installer and then it tries to use my Digital Image suite as a spell checker. I have not had any changes other then normal Microsoft Updates I have not installed anything other then a couple online games. This has been going on for a month or two now and am getting fed up with it so am asking if anyone can give me a solution to this??

i would try to revert to its normal state, have you tried system restore or try uninstaling the online games first and see what happens..one thing at a time
