I have a laptop, running windows, and have a 100 GB hd.

What I want to do is just take like 15 - 20 GB (maybe even less) and split the harddrive.

Basically I want to cut off a small section of my hard drive to place files where viruses or what not cannot spread from one to the other.

I know there something about partioning, but I want to know if there is another easy way (perhaps in windows) or maybe a little more insight on partioning.

Whatever it is, I would prefer it be FREE.

    Thanks
