spoof text tracing

    I desperately need help...my son has been receiving text messages from someone posing as his girlfriend and vice versa, this has been goin on for about a year and is causing trouble for them both...how do we find out who the sender is...Verizon is unable to track the real phone the messages are sent from but I know its being sent from a spoof app...there has got to be a way to trace these texts ...please help us.

    Sadly if the cellphone company cannot trace the calls/texts then no app will either as the phone company have better tracing apps that are available in the community.

    Weird that the phone company cannot trace a number that's being used to send texts as the call/text has to come from somewhere, ok it could be a spoofing app but the origin has to be known, may not be attributable to a person but at least a physical number.

    Sadly no PC apps can help you, it has to be the phone company.
