Spooler SubSystem App error/Uninstall Troubleshooting

    Hello,

    I have been periodically receiving an error message saying "Spooler SubSystem App stopped working and was closed: A problem caused the application to stop working correctly...". I believe this message refers to a printer, but I do not have one connected to my PC. I had one briefly installed years ago, but then disconnected it. I am running Vista 32.

    Another software issue I have is when trying to uninstall SUPERAntisoftware. I am receiving the error message: "Error reading uninstall data".

    Try this:

    1. Go to Programs and Features in Control panel > click Turn Windows features on or off
    2. click + sign of Print services
    3. Select LPD and LPR. You should remove Internet Printing Client. > restart your PC to ensure there is no error of spooler service.

    4. Add your printer driver again.

    I followed all steps but 4 because I no longer have the printer I installed with me. I am no longer receiving the error message, thank you.
