So what are everyones predictions for the bowl games??
Also, how about UEFA? Go Chelsea!!

The games that matter:
Ohio State vs. Florida: OSU (please)
USC vs. Notre Dame: Notre Dame (only cause USC sucks)
UGA vs. Virginia Tech: Virginia Tech baby
Boise St vs. Oklahoma: Oklahoma

 

I live in South Alabama and very few people like Florida but they are saying Florida can play with OSU.

I may eat this after the game but personally I think OSU will walk over Florida and then laugh back across. Like I said I may eat those words but I've watched OSU and I don't think anyone can beat them this year.

I don't like either team, USC I don't like because they think they are better than everyone else and I don't like the Irish simply because we should have played in the National Championship (Alabama Crimson Tide) many years ago but no they gave it to Notre Dame. lol

This game I think USC will win again but I will go for the Irish.

 

I'm from bama also..I'm hopein Florida and OSU will play each other..but the polls always seem to sway usc's way. They need to switch over to a playoff system, 1A football is the only college level that doesn't use a playoff system. They won't cuz there's so much money in the bowl games...Did u kno if a team gets to a bcs bowl they get 14mill jus for showin up....yep we should have played for the title back in 66 againest Notre Dame I do believe....but the system couldn't beleive sum good ol country boys could beat them so they rip us off.....Roll Tide!

So, BJ, are you a 'Bama fan or Auburn fan?

 

I think you are the only person that agrees with me on that BJ, USC is so incredibly over rated and always have been. I was so freakin happy last year when Texas beat them and I just about cried when I saw UCLA, an unranked team! beat them last week, man that was amazing. That goes to show you how the name of your school matters a lot according to the pollers. I really could care less if ND wins actually, but no matter who is playing USC, I always want them to win.
The peach bowl is going to be good tho, I live in Atlanta for some of the year, and attended both Virginia Tech and UGA, and have tix to the game, so it will be a lot of fun.

 

Alabama fan, born and raised!

 

College Football is so unpredictable now it makes watching it even better. I will say this, Mal Moore and Alabama needs to be patient and wait instead of jumping out and offering the job. I hate we didn't get Rodriguez but oh well maybe we can get someone as good or better.

I was tickled to death when Texas beat USC, I was more excited at this then I was at Alabama's 10-2 season last year. I will say this, the face on Pete Carroll after he knew UCLA was going to win was priceless. lol

 

They got rid of Shula too quick, he is a good coach.

I said the same thing. They think they can hire a coach and within 2 years he take them to the BCS championship. They MAIN problem with Alabama is Mal Moore and the fact that noone can't let Paul "Bear" Bryant die. Until both of these men are let go I don't see the program going any furter.

 

Yeah, it's tough to overcome a legend like Bear Bryant. I would say alot of coaches are kind of gunshy about taking the job now after what they did to Shula. You never know though. I hope they can rebuild in a year or two, won't be the same SEC if the tide is struggling.

Nah it really won't, if they search and be patient I think they will find someone. They just have to be patient and not jump in too fast like they did with all the Mikes lol.

But they need a big name guy, in my opinion, to get local recruits to go there instead of auburn... This problem will soon start happening in florida, and to an extent already has, with UF getting most recruits while FSU and Miami get the left overs

 

Sweet. I lived in Stillwater, OK almost my whole life, so I'm a big Ok. State fan. I know we're all looking forward to our bowl game with you guys, and I'm sure you're the same. I heard that Rodriguez decided to stay at WVU...any news on the coaching front?

 

Should be a interesting game especially since we don't have a coach, lol
