spy bot error looks like german languge

you guys were so good with my machine at work , i thought i would try to get my home one to work. i have run every thing as sugested but i can not get rid of this stuff. i have attached a file. thanks mark

 

We saw this a couple of days ago-- it was a glitch. Update Spybot and it will go away.

 

now i have done it.
i did as you asked.

uninstalled spybot

reinstalled spy bot

now i get the following

The external update application has bin corrupted. Plaese make sure you download the "updated" update to replace it.

ERROR:
Can not creat file :
C\PROGRAMS FILES\SPYBOT-SEARCH_DESTROY\updates\download.ini
the system can not find specifid path.

What did i do sorry

told you i was not the sharpest knife in the drawer.

ok i did an uninstall and then rebooted. reinstalled , no change same error's.

 

ok... here's the deal. i uninstalled, rebooted, went to spybot and downloaded, because when i downloaded from your link i only got 1.3 meg file, when i went to spybot i got a 4.15 meg file. maybe the file is corrupt that i was getting for MajorGeeks. i tryed different locations but kept getting the same error. spybot seems to work well. thanks mark

no no , thank you !!!! you guy's are the greatest. now both my computers run like new. this one had over 150 crapy things on it, the hard drive ran all the time. i have not seen it run except when i boot it up. thanks again. mark b
