I'm a newbie to posting a thread so i'll do my best at explaining my problem. I got "infected" the other day with SpyAxe. I first removed it via "addRmvPrgm's" , then ran Adaware and then SpyBot S&D. it seemed to go away for a day and then I started getting I.E. pop-ups , and a bubble message from startup icons(bottom right) which is just a link to the "SpyTrooper" website. I've tried to remove it in the same way i initially removed "SpyAxe" but I can't get rid of it. I've also tried running Spybot and Adaware in safe mode but it comes back. Finally i ran HJT and this is what I got>
i'm really not sure what i should get rid of. Any help PLS!

(i do install all avail. updates for Adaware and SpyBotS&D b4 i run them too)

    • Edit by bjgarrick: Unrequested, Inline HJT log removed!

Welcome to MajorGeeks.com, please follow the steps below:

http://www.majorgeeks.com/images/grenade.gif Run ALL the steps in this Sticky thread SpyAxe Removal

    • Make sure you check version numbers and get all updates.
http://www.majorgeeks.com/images/grenade.gif Very Important: Make sure you tell us the results from running the tutorial...was anything found? Were you unable to complete any of the scans?...Were you unable to download any of the tools?...Did you do the on-line scans as suggested? etc.

http://www.majorgeeks.com/images/grenade.gifAfter doing ALL of the above and you still have a problem, make sure you have booted to normal mode and run the steps in the below thread to properly use HijackThis and attach the log:
