spyboot scan too long?????

Hi, I'm an user of spyboot 1.3 in windows 98, I'll like to know if it is normal to have a scan that lasts more than 3 hours, It stops for a long time when it's searching something called adgoblin and cool web search, then when it arrives to robot 6000, it goes very quick. Is this normal in this program? What should I do if not? reinstall the program may help?

no. Slower machines may take some time.. I've seen it take 15 minutes, but never 3 hours.
