Spybot and advanced systemcare

I found advanced systemcare 3 around midnight last night. Sounded like just what I was looking for. Good reviews, etc. So I downloaded it.

At 6 AM I got up eager to get this software running, but when I start to install Spybot tea timer comes up with this message: http://www.hut18.com/advancedsystemcare-spybot.jpg

What's up with that? I was really looking forward o a faster computer this AM.

There is a possibility that spybot and some other programs create conflicts with each other... I don't know all the details on that particular subject but u may want to check out the Malware forum to make sure on.. I'm thinking that some spyware removal programs see each other as malware, But by all means check with other people too, I may be wrong on that.

 

I recently installed Advanced System Care 3 and have Spybot S&D for years without the tea timer and no problem with the install. After downloading software to my desktop, I always do a scan with Antispyware, Malware Bytes and AVG prior to any install and they didn't find anything. Regular scanning with Spybot S&D after the ASC 3 installation never found anything either. So I figure it must be a false positive?

PS: did you download ASC 3 from MG or another website?
